George Birge Charlotte reviews
PiQnIQ was a good time
I was pleasantly surprised by how good the other bands were when I went to this show for George Birge. My favorites from the sidestage were The Broods and Strumbellas. I will have to check out their CDs. Lucius started the main stage with a great performance. The Lumineers were very good. I hope they headline Chicago soon. Robert DeLong was the most innovative act I have ever seen, a one-man band, if you will. Young the Giant was just ok. George Birge was excellent. The event was well organized with lots of concessions available, but they could use water fountains that work, with huge lines to fill water bottles.
